AP Govt to allot Rs 9000 crore for Indiramma villages
Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh Sep 11(UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government was contemplating to provide common minimum facilities in Indiramma adarsa villages at an estimated cost of Rs 9000 crore in the State, according to State Panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy at Bantumalli village near here today.
He said during the current financial year 18.5 lakh houses would be constructed under Indiramma scheme in this fiscal year.
The Government also issued notification for recruiting 2500 village secretary posts in the state, he added.
Mr Reddy laid the foundation stone for 920 houses under Indiramma scheme at an estimated cost of Rs three crore at Chinapandrapaka in Malleswaram Constituency.
