87 member Punjab contingent for North Zone Athletics

Chandigarh, Sep 11 (UNI) The Punjab Amateur Athletic Association (PAAA) is sending an 87-member contingent for the 18th edition of the North Zone Junior Athletic Championships to be held at Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) from September 20 to 22.

Competitions would be held for boys and girls in the age groups of Under-20, Under18 and Under-16. The association is also sending a seven-member official team along with the participants.

Sanjay Kumar, secretary of the Sangrur District Athletic Association, has been appointed head of the Punjab contingent.
