Indian woman shot dead by ex-husband

Dubai, Sep 10 (UNI) A divorced Indian woman was shot dead in her home in the Emirate of Fujairah and the police have arrested her former husband, a UAE national, in this connection.

The police, who did not name the 30-year-old Indian, said the former husband shot the woman when she opened the door for him.

The accused, who sped away in a waiting car, was arrested and referred to the public prosecution, press reports said.

He confessed that he had murdered his divorced wife as he suspected her fidelity.
