Hopeful of meeting Pak President in Havana: Dr Singh

On Board Air India One, Sept 10 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said he was hopeful of meeting Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit on September 15 and 16 in Havana.

Talking to reporters on board the special plane on his way to Brasilia and Havana, Dr Singh said efforts were being made by both sides to arrange the meeting.

When asked to comment on BJP President Rajnath Singh's comment in Dehradun that the Prime Minister should not meet Gen Musharraf, Dr Singh said ''we will cross that bridge when we come to it.'' UNI SA VD DB2327
