China'a Zhou says sees slowing from Q2 rate
BASEL, Switzerland, Sept 10 (Reuters) Chinese central bank chief Zhou Xiaochuan said on Sunday that he expected growth in China's economy to slow from its high second quarter pace.
Growth quickened to 11.3 percent in the second quarter this year, the fastest pace in a decade.
''The growth rate was a little bit too high,'' he told reporters on the sidelines of central banker meetings on the global economy and markets at the Bank for International Settlements.
But he added that macroeconomic adjustments would slow the rapid expansion.
''We see a slowdown a little bit from the second quarter rate'' in the rest of the year, he said.
