Chembur Gymkhana crushes Poona Club to enter semi-finals

Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) Chembur Gymkhana and Malabar Hill Club stormed into the semi-finals in the Clea PR-Vijay Group-sponsored Sandesh Memorial Mumbai Billiards and Snooker League at the Garware Club House here today.

Chembur Gymkhana crushed debutants Poona Club 3-0, while Malabar Hill Club overcame Spring Club 3-1 in the quarter-finals.

Chembur Gymkhana set up a semi-final clash with Central Railway Mechanical Institute 'B' (CRMI), who beat Islam Gymkhana 'B' 3-1, while Malabar Hill Club will take on Bombay Gymkhana 'B' in the other semi-final tomorrow after the latter beat CRMI 'A' 3-2 in a thriller.
