Stern action on employees failing to report for duty: Rao

Pondicherry, Sep 9 (UNI) Subba Rao, Director, Jipmer today warned the striking employees to report for duty immediately failing which disciplinary action would be initiated against them.

In a release here, Dr Rao alleged that the employees had gone on strike since yesterday without any prior notice, causing lots of inconvenience to the patients.

The action of the employees was ''unwarranted'' and violates CCS (Conduct) Rules 1964, he added.
