Top Corporates to battle it out in quiz contest on Sept 9

Chandigarh, Sep 8 (UNI) Contry's top corporate houses like Infosys, Maruti Udyog, Ranbaxy, Trident, Dell, Quark Media House, Tata Motors, SBI, HDFC Bank and IDS Infotech will be participating in the XquizIT 2006 - A Corporate Challenge Quiz contest.

The contest to be held on September 9, here is being organised by CII in association with Chandigarh Administration.

A CII release here said that the main objectives of XquizIT are to promote team building, raise awareness, enhance knowledge and upgrade skills in the corporate sector. The contest would be a classic way to entertain executives while testing them on product knowledge, industry facts and company trivia.

To further rekindle the competitive spirit amongst the participants, a Rolling Trophy model has been introduced from this year. The life of the Rolling Trophy will be three years and any corporate house which wins the trophy for three consecutive years would be eligible to retain the same.

Well known quiz master Chitranjan Agarwal who has been conceptualising, organising and hosting quiz contest for almost 20 years in the region, will be hosting the show.

The participants will not only compete on the basis of their talent, but will also get an opportunity to test their strategic decision making skills, which is a pre-requisite for today's complexity of businesses.

Other prominent participants are C&E Limited, ER Auto Pvt Ltd, Netsolutions, Oriental Bank of Commerce, RedAlkemi, Sediz Infotech, Select Technologies.
