Rupees ten lakhs found in bag of Hyderabad-bound passenger

New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) CISF officials have detained a Hyderabad-bound passenger from the domestic airport here after he was found 'receiving' a bag containing several lakhs of rupees from an airlines employee.

Manish, who was about to board the Hyderabad-bound plane of SpiceJet Airways yesterday evening, was detained by the sleuths of the CISF Airport Intelligence Wing who saw him receiving a bag from the airlines official, sources said.

As the bag did not have a security clearance tag, he was detained said an official.

On searching the bag, about Rs ten lakhs were recovered from it, he added.

He was later handed over to the Delhi Police.

CISF also sent a complaint on the airlines official's conduct to the Bureau of Civil Aviation Secretariat.
