Malegaon blasts after Mumbai a serious matter : Advani

Dehradun, Sep 8 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today said that the blasts in Malegaon, coming on the heels of Mumbai serial blasts, was a serious security matter and it was time for the nation to think and act together.

Addressing the BJP National Executive in the presence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Mr Advani said the government should take the issue seriously and deal with it effectively.

Taking exception to the attitude of the Government to see everything through the 'prism of vote bank politics', Mr Advani said national interest should be more relevant than all other issues.
