High Court reserves verdict in UP seat

Allahabad, Sept 8: The Allahabad High Court yesterday reserved its verdict in a writ petition filed relating to admission / recounselling in respect of seats in Uttar Pradesh state engineering admission test (UP-seat) for the academic year 2006-07.

The judgement was reserved by Justice S N Srivastava on a writ petition filed by welfare association of self finance institute, an association of private engineering colleges in UP.

The writ petitioner had alleged that the State Government was inferfering in the admission of students in the management quota.
