Harish Sharma nominated as FIBA Commonwealth Commission Chairman

New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Secretary general of the Baskteball Federation of India (BFI) Harish Sharma became the first Indian to be nominated as Chairman of the FIBA Commonwealth Commission during the recent World Congress Meeting of the international federation in Tokyo, Japan.

Mr Sharma will coordinate with 73 Commonwealth countries and local organisers to develop and promote the game among the member countries, a BFI release said here today.
