Bharat Gears to invest Rs 15 cr to expand operations

New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Bharat Gears Ltd (BGL) will invest Rs 15 crore by the end of this fiscal to expand its operations and meet the growing demand.

''We have registered a 13 per cent growth and expect to add new products in our manufacturing list,'' BGL CMD Surinder P Kanwar told reporters on the sidelines of annual convention of Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) here today.

The company manufactures Bevel Gears, Ring Gears, Transmission components Gears and shafts and gear boxes for the commercial vehicles.

Moreover, the company's Furnace Manufacturing Division engineers and constructs batch and continuous heat treating furnace systems to cater more than 80 clients all across the country.
