AP Producers' Council imposes ban on actor Prakash Raj

Hyderabad, Sept 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Film Producers' Council today imposed a ban on actor Prakash Raj, for troubling a producer.

Producer Jyothi Prasad started his film 'Peddu' in 2003. Three days shooting of Prakash Raj remained incomplete as the actor abstained from shooting.

The producer complained to the Producers' Council that due to the delay in the completion of the film, he had incurred a loss of Rs 1.5 crore. Since the actor had not responded even after the producer had complained to the Council, a ban was imposed on him, prohibiting acting in Telugu films.

The ban, however, would not be applicable to the ongoing films, featuring Prakash Raj.
