Warm, humid weather prevails in Delhi, to continue this week

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) Warm and humid weather continued to prevail here today with the weatherman forecasting a dry weather for the rest of the week.

Sunny weather coupled with a high humidity level of close to 90 per cent led to continuance of warm and humid conditions during the day though some relief was provided by South Easterly winds.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal while the minimum was 26.

It has been a dry weather in Delhi this week, after bountiful rains last week. The capital received 210 mm rain 20 per cent in surplus of the normal level of monsoon rainfall.

The dryness in the weather is likely to prevail for the rest of the week with the weather office forecasting only isolated rainfall in North West India during the next few days.

In Delhi, weatehrman have forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and thundershowers during the next 24 hours.
