Political parties celebrate Vande Mataram centenary in A'bad
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Sep 7 (UNI) Various political parties including the Shiv Sena, Bharatiya Janata Party and Chhava Maratha Yuva Sanghatana today celebrated the centenary of 'Vande Mataram' by organising special programmes in various localities of the city.
Shiv Sena Deputy leader and MP Chandrakant Khaire, Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Kishanchand Tanwani, former MP and Sena's district chief Pradip Jaiswal and Suhas Dashrathe were present at the special Vande Mataram singing programme held at 'Savarkar Chowk,' in the city.
BJP MLA Shrikant Joshi, former Maharashtra Minister Haribhau Bagdem, AMC Deputy Mayor Bapu Ghadamode and former Standing Committee Chairman of the AMC Bhausaheb Tathe were present for the singing of Vande Mataram, held at Gulmandi locality of the city.
The Chhava Maratha Yuva Sanghatana also celebrated Vande Mataram centenary by organising a special programme at Kranti Chowk locality. Prominent among those present at the programme were Sanghatana president Devidas Vadje and Milind Patil.
