Pakistan's concerns about Indian presence
Kabul, Sep 6 (UNI) Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf today expressed his concerns about the presence of India saying ''this is our sensitivity, this is one of our concerns.'' President Musharraf was making these comments in response to a question directed at President Karzai by a Pakistani correspondent who said India had 40 missions in Pakistan which were causing concern.
''I have shared my views with my brother. I want to say that when we call each other brothers I always believe we must mean it in our minds and hearts and when we mean it in our minds and hearts we must be very careful about this sensitivity of the brother. ..I am sure we will look into this in its totality.
President Karzai said each of the three neighbours- two close neighbours and another farther off had four consulates in Afghanistan. Afghanistan was very much aware of the nature of relations between India and Pakistan. Afghanistan and Pakistan had extensive people to people relations and both countries had to keep each other's needs in mind. Afghanistan would never allow any foreign consulate, let alone India, work against Pakistan as such activity would work against Afghanistan.
