Mother-son die under mysterious circumstances in alleged suicide bid

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) A 50-year-old woman and her son died under mysterious circumstances in Sarai Rohilla area of North Delhi early this morning.

The woman, Aadesh and her son Sameer (21) died in the wee hours today at their 'L' Block, Shastri Nagar residence in Sarai Rohilla before they could be taken to the hospital, where they were rushed soon after they vomitted, according to sources.

Both were taken to the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital by one of their servants after they vomitted, but were declared brought dead.

The woman, who was bed-ridden and ailing since long, had three sons of which one had died in an accident some time back while the second one, Aashu, was a drug addict.

While the police consider it to be a case of suicide, neighbours say Sameer was frustrated with his elder brother Aashu over operations in the factory owned by them and did not trust him for taking care of their mother.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem and investigations are on, said the police.
