JNURM Action Committee wants inclusion of Hubli-Dharwad in Mission

Hubli, Sep 7 (UNI) Kalasa Bandori and Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewable Mission (JNURM) Action Committee today urged the Karnataka Government to submit a memorandum to the Centre seeking inclusion of Hubli-Dharwad in the mission.

Addressing a press conference here, Committee President Anilkumar Patil said with Congress President Sonia Gandhi reacting favourably during her recent visit to Bangalore to the inclusion of the twin city of Hubli-Dharwad in the Mission, the state government should send a proposal in this regard immediately.

''If the state government failed to send the proposal, the Committee will resort to agitation from September 17,'' he warned.
