High Court asks Jagmohon Dalmiya to reply to BCCI show-cause

Kolkata, Sep 7 (UNI) The Calcutta High Court today directed former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya to reply the show-cause notice, served to him by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, on or before October 3.

Justice Pranab Kumar Deb also suggested Mr Dalmiya to refer in his reply the 60 documents relating to PILCOM accounts which he had sought from the BCCI.

Justice Deb issued the direction on a writ petition filed by Mr Dalmiya challenging the show-cause notice served to him in connection with the PILCOM accounts.

The court also held that Mr Dalmiya could appear before the BCCI committee within seven days after October 3 and explain his position in this matter.

Mr Dalmiya had moved the High Court after a city court issued a similar direction.
