Earthquake fear overshadow Vande Mataram in Asom

Guwahati, Sep 7 (UNI) The fear of ''earthquake'' predicted by a Madras University professor overshadowed the Vande Mataram's centenary celebration in Asom today as people were mostly involved in talking about impending natural disaster in next 24 hours.

The programme was a low key affair as the students in some institutions song the National Song while a small group of around 30 took out a procession in five vehicles in Guwahati.
