Construction company employee robbed of Rs.2 lakh

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) An employee of a construction company was robbed of Rs 2 lakh in Shakarpur area of east Delhi today.

Ranjay Rai (37) working as AN accountant with GCM enterprises engaged by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), was robbed while he was returning along with his colleague after withdrawing a sum of Rs 4 lakh from HDFC bank located at Laxmi Nagar District centre in east Delhi, according to police.

While both the employees were on their way to office with two bags containing Rs 2 lakh each, two motorcycle borne miscreants snatched one of their bags before escaping.
