Srinagar, Sep 7 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir team, led by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, defeated Parliamentarians to lift this year's Greater Kashmir Invitational Golf Tournament played at the Royal Springs Golf Course here.
Jammu and Kashmir team scored 31.13 points while the Parliamentarians could manage only 30.2.
Governor Lt Gen (Retd) S K Sinha distributed prizes to the winners and the runners-up. He also gave away individual prizes and mementos to the golfers.
Mr Azad received the trophy on behalf of the winning Jammu and Kashmir team. The runners-up award was received by Dinesh Trivedi as the captain of the Parliamentarian's team.
N Sandhu won the award for scoring maximum five birdies.
In the individual prizes, Dinesh Trivedi bagged the first prize while Ghalib Mohiuddin Shah and Anil Goswami got first and second runners up.
