Vilasrao, Patil pay respects to Lord Ganesha at Girgaum
Mumbai, Sep 6 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and his deputy R R Patil this evening visited Girgaum Chowpattty, the main venue of immersion of idols of Lord Ganesha, and paid respects to the elephant headed god as he proceeded to his watery abode.
Mr Deshmukh, his wife Vaishali, son Dheeraj accompanied by Mr Patil stood on the specially constructed stage at the beach and showered flower petals on the passing idols.
