Telgi being denied proper medical treatment, says his lawyer

Pune, Sep 6 (UNI) Multi-crore fake stamp paper racket kingpin Abdul Karim Telgi's lawyer Milind Pawar today alleged that his client was not being provided proper medical treatment by doctors at the government-run Sassoon Hospital here.

Telgi was admitted to the Sassoon Hospital four days back. Adv Pawar said his client was very ill but the doctors were not providing him proper treatment. He said he will file a petition before the court in this regard tomorrow.

Telgi's lawyer, however, refused to comment on the ''disclosures'' by a news channel, which carried video-audio clippings on Telgi's narco analysis tests three years back, about the involvement of some top politicians with his client. Adv Pawar said he will talk to Telgi on this matter tomorrow.
