Nobel way to overcome Vande Mataram row
Lucknow, Sep 6 (UNI) The minorities in the state capital has found a nobel way to counter the Vande Mataram controversy with announcing to sing Dr Iqbal's ' Sare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara 'tomorrow.
The Muslims here tomorrow would sing Dr Iqbal's song at the historic Aishbagh Idgah where more than 200 children would sing the song.
Maulana Khalid Rashid, Imam of the Aishbagh Idgah, told UNI here tonight, by singing Dr Iqbal's song the community want to vindicate its point that Muslims were no less patriotic than any other community in the country.
''By singing the song, Muslims would avoid singing Vande Mataram which has created controversy among the community'', the Maulana said.
Meanwhile, the Vidyarthi Parishad, will bring out a rally here singing Vande Mataram.
The Vidhyarthi Parishad rally would start from Lucknow University campus in the morning tomorrow.
