Munda justifies detention of Kamlesh Singh by police

Ranchi, Sep 6 (UNI) Chief Minister Arjun Munda tonight defended alleged detention of Water Resources, Food and Civil Supply Minister Kamlesh Singh at Jamshedpur yesterday, saying it was done keeping security measures in mind.

He said every minister was entitled to specific security instruction, specially when they want to go outside the state.

'' If anything happens to the Minister, who will be responsible for it? '' he asked.

Mr Singh on September 4 night wanted to go to Delhi via Kolkata when he was detained by police at Jamshedpur.

He was one of the four Ministers, who resigned yesterday.
