JV to takeover Muzaffarpur power plant in Bihar

Mumbai, Sep 6 (UNI) The State-owned National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has floated a 51:49 joint venture with Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) to take over Muzaffarpur thermal power station in Bihar.

The joint venture company - Vaishali Power Generating Company Ltd - was incporated today for the purpose of running two units of 110 megawatt of the plant, NTPC informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
