Heavy rains likely in MP, Guj, Konkan, Goa and northern Mah

Pune, Sep 6 (UNI) The southwest monsoon has been active over west Madhya Pradesh and subdued over Punjab, west Rajasthan, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in west Madhya Pradesh and at many places in Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, north madhya Maharashtra.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, south Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, south madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.

Heavy rains have occurred at many places in west Madhya Pradesh, and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, and at many places in Konkan and Goa, Andaman and Nicobar isladns, Laksahdweep and at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujart, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, north interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan west Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over east Uttar Pradesh, Punbjab, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.
