Govt committed to the welfare of employees: AP CM
Hyderabad, Sept 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Government was committed to the welfare of all sections of its employees and would implement the Girglani Report, the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy said today.
Dr Reddy was addressing the leaders of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Telangana Employees, Teachers and Workers of Andhra Pradesh, who called on him here.
Responding to the memorandum of the JAC of TNGOs, HE assured the leaders that he always dealt leniently in all cases of involving small employees when it came to his notice.
Regarding Girglani Report, the Chief Minister said that it was his Government that had accepted the report in letter and spirit, which was accepted by the Cabinet and action was initiated in the police department.
Reiterating the commitment of the Government on this issue, Dr Reddy directed the leaders to meet the Cabinet Sub-Committee and place their demands to enable them to sort out and implement the pending issues in a time-bound manner.
