Four smugglers nabbed with brown sugar, fake currency
Jammu, Sep 6 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested four smugglers with two kg brown sugar worth Rs 2 crore in the international market and seized a large quantity of fake currency here on the outskirts of the city.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the smugglers, who reached Bhatindi from Kashmir and were planning to leave for New Delhi, police sources said.
The accused have been identified as Kaleem Shah and Ashish Kumar, residents of Rajouri and Aijaz Ahmed and Vicky of Bhatindi.
The brown sugar has been sent for laboratory tests, police said.
