AFL launches WiZ, India's first retail courier product at Rs 60
New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) AFL Pvt Ltd, leading express and logistics solutions provider in India today announced the launch of 'WiZ Express', the country's first retail courier product priced at Rs 60 per delivery, to provide easy accessibility to the retail customer segment.
'Wiz Express', priced at Rs 60 per courier delivery for documents weighing upto 250 gms anywhere in India, will provide accessibility to individuals, housewives, students and traders, and will be available in market outlets like grocery stores, medical stores and telecom centers among others.
The product will also provide the customer with various value added features like SMS delivery updates enabling customers who provide their mobile number when booking the courier, to receive an automatic SMS providing confirmation of the delivery of their shipment.
Other features include tamper-proof and weather-proof packaging and any day pick up.
''The launch of WiZ is intended to revolutionise the courier industry in India by making it easy for a consumer to send a courier. By creating a fixed price product and using a non-traditional distribution route, we hope to improve our brand outreach. WiZ Express was initially launched in Mumbai in over 450 outlets and is now available in over 725 outlets across 6 cities in India.
The product is available in over 80 outlets in the NCR region and the company is keen on increasing its presence further.
