Two Naga Teachers to receive National awards

Kohima, Sep 05 (UNI) Two Naga teachers will receive National Teachers' awards in New Delhi on Teachers Day today.

Official sources said here Ghoshito Sema of Sitimi Government Primary school and Alemakla Ao teacher in Nayanganokaha Government Higher Secondary school under Mokokchung district, would receive Rs 15,000 each, medals and certificates.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has greeted the teachers and asked them to upheld the image of the teaching community.

In his message on the eve of Teacher's day yesterday, Mr Rio urged the teachers to safeguard their profession.
