Tributes paid to VOC on 135th birth anniversary

Pondicherry, Sep 5 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to veteran freedom fighter P Chidambaram Pillai, fondly known as VOC on his 135th birth anniversary today.

Pondicherry Education Minister M O H F Shajahan, Ozukarai municipal chairman Jayapal, former speaker M D R Ramachandran and VOC peravai functionaries were among others, who garlanded the statue of VOC on the occasion here.
