SBI staff to go on day's strike on September 15

Kolkata, Sept 05 (UNI) The staff of State Bank of India (SBI) in West Bengal, Sikkim and Bay Islands would go on a day's strike on September 15.

" The strike has been called to protest the arbitrariness and violation of service conditions, agreements and commitments by the SBI management," State Bank of India Staff Association general secretary A Datta said.

The staff members were also demanding recruitment of all cadres, he said.

The workmen staff of SBI Bengal circle were on agitational programme, which would culminate into a day's strike on September 15, Datta added.
