KP Sunny to probe into IAF-Mohammedan tussle

New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) The All India Football Federation today appointed KP Sunny, Chairman of the AIFF Players Status Committee, to probe into the dispute bewteen Mohammedan Sporting Club and IFA, the state governing body in West Bengal.

The enquiry will be held on September 20 at the AIFF Football House at Dwarka and after its conclusion, Mr Sunny will submit his report to the federation, an AIFF release said here today.

Mohammedan and the Indian Football Association (IFA) are engaged in an acrimonious battle with the club accusing the state body of being biased against it and they eventually agreed to play in the IFA league after much deliberation.
