Era Constructions bags Rs 114.78 cr order from Rail Vikas Nigam

Mumbai, Sep 5 (UNI) Era Constructions India has secured contract from Rail Vikas Nigam worth Rs 114.78 crore for laying railway track on Bhatapara-Urkura section on South East Central Railway.

Announcing this, the Company told BSE that the contract is to be executed over a period of 30 months. Era Constructions (ECIL) is a medium-sized construction firm engaged in diversified construction activities for airports, power projects, infrastructure, institutional and industrial complexes, multiplexes and residential buildings.

Recently, Era Constructions India has been awarded a contract by Pratappur Sugar&Industries for construction of civil works at their Kundarki Unit, Gonda. Pratappur Sugar&Industries has been acquired by Bajaj Hindusthan, a sugar industry major, in December 2005.

The cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 55 crore and the contract is to be executed over a period of 6 months.
