DECO Group launches ''REMA'' range of CFL: money saver lamp

Rajkot, Sep 5 (UNI) The DECO group, manufacturers of virtified floor and luster wall tiles, today launched the REMA range of Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL).

Addressing mediapersons here, the chairman of the DECO group, Girishbhai Pethapara said that CFL products are very economical and targeted towards the common man. He said that the REMA range has been specially designed for the Indian situation, to withstand high voltage fluctuations (between 130V-275V) by using current and voltage filters which also increases the life of the bulb.

The lamps have a fire-proof plastic coating with a special guarantee of one year and one month, the chairman explained.

While households would be tapped in the initial stages, within the next three months the DECO group plans to launch new products for industrial customers, Mr Pethapara informed.

The company would generate employment for women too, by employing 1,000 women at REMA within a year, he added.
