Bengal take on Mumbai in Moinudawlla cricket
Hyderabad, Sep 5 (UNI) Confident Bengal take on Mumbai, while Maharashtra face Karnataka in the pre-quarter finals of the All India Moin-ud-Dawlla Gold Cup cricket tournament here tomorrow.
Bengal have been boosted by the inclusion of former India skipper Sourav Ganguly, but is feeling the absence of young gun Subhomoy Gupinath Das, who recently joined BSNL. With experienced captain Deep Das Gupta, Rohan Gavaskar, L R Shukla and S S Paul in their ranks Bengal hope to give a good fight to Mumbai on a sporting pitch.
On the other hand, with top run getter in the previous edition of the Ranji Trophy A A Mazumdar (672) and skipper Wasim Jaffer, also among the runs (563) in the Ranji season, Mumbai is expected to put up a good show.
