15 die in jeep-truck collision in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Sep 5 (UNI) Fifteen people died in a road accident near Pali here today.

The accident occurred on the National Highway 14, when a jeep going from Pali to Marwah junction collided with a truck coming from Jaipur, sources said.

Nine people died on the spot while the injured were admitted to hospitals in Jodhpur and Pali.

Those who died and the severely injured have been given Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 each respectively as compensation from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Senior district officials reached the spot on receiving the information.
