WFI names selectors to pick wrestlers for World Championship

Chandigarh, Sep 4 (UNI) Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has appointed Dr Safri Lal and Darshan Singh as selectors to choose the Indian wrestlers for the World Championship.

The WFI will select the Indian team, including women in freestyle category, during the selection trials on Thursday and Friday ai Hissar and at National Institute of Sports, Patiala on September 8 and 9.

The selected wrestlers will represent the country in the World Wrestling Championship in freestyle as well as Greco-Roman for men and women freestyle event at Guangzhou, China from September 25 to October 1.
