Poona Club in quarters of Mumbai Billiards and Snooker League

Mumbai, Sep 4 (UNI) Debutantes Poona Club became the first team to storm into the quarter-finals in the Sandesh Memorial Mumbai Billiards&Snooker League.

Poona Club fashioned a thrilling 3-2 wins over Catholic Gymkhana and Bombay Gymkhana 'C' in the Super League, to qualify from Group F here yesterday.

In another close encounter, Khar Gymkhana 'A' earned their first win with an exciting 3-2 verdict over Dadar Parsee Gymkhana in Group 'D'.
