Political parties stage dharna against GO 94

Tirupati, Sep 4 (UNI) Workers and leaders of various political parties, including the Left and TDP today staged a dharna in front of the RTC regional manager office in protest against the Government Order (GO) No 94 today.

The demonstrators gathered at the office near the RTC bus stand and sought the immediate withdrawal of the controversial GO No 94, which they alleged was being used by the government to privatise the RTC through 'back door.' The agitation would be intensified if the government failed to withdraw the GO, the leaders warned.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to the RTC regional manager Dharma Reddy.
