Nine Bangladeshis arrested in the capital

Agartala, Sep 4 (UNI) The authorities have expressed concern over the reports of presence of foreign elements after nine Bangladeshis were arrested in the Aralia area here recently.

According to Police, a patrolling party found some unknown persons moving suspiciously in Aralia area and when challenged they tried to flee.

They had no valid documents and when questioned they said they were staying for business purpose.

Later all of them were produced before the judicial magistrate who remanded them in Police custody.

Police investigation is on to find out the actual motive behind their presence. Security measures have also been beefed up throughout the state.
