MP Congress demands dismissal of BJP Govt
Indore, Sept 4: The Madhya Pradesh Congress would demand dismissal of the State Government in connection with the death of Professor H S Sabharwal in Ujjain when he was attacked by students irked over postponement of the students union election.
State Congress Spokesperson K K Mishra told reporters here that the decision to raise the demand was taken at the top level.
Claiming that the BJP Government's report on the issue was confusing, he demanded that the Governor probe inquiry report by his own agency.
Accusing Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of destroying evidences, Mr Mishra demanded to register case against him.
Mr Mishra demanded a CBI inquiry, removal of the Ujjain Collector and the SP along with other officials besides ban on the BJP's student body Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
The party will take up the matter and would organise agitation in different phases.
After tomorrow's bandh call, a sit-in will be staged at block level on September 7, while demonstrations would be held at district headquarters on September 20.
