Maoist leader Prachand alleges Paras bought weapons from Israel
Kathmandu, Sep 4 (UNI) Nepal's Maoists leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachand today alleged that Crown Prince Paras had brought Israeli arms from Ukraine via India, media reports said.
The controversy over the grounding of an Ukrainian plane carrying Israeli arms in India took a new turn with Prachand charging the Crown Prince of bringing the weapons.
''Crown Prince during his visit to Austria last year, purchased arms from Israel through arms dealers and the plane which grounded at Ahmedabad in India was carrying them to Nepal.'' The Himalayan Times quoted Prachand as saying.
The government has said it has no information regarding the import of weapons from Ukraine via India. However, the government assured that investigations are underway.
