Lalu offers worship at Tirumala

Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 4 (UNI) Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today offered worship at the Sri Venkateswara Temple here early this morning.

The Minister was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer A P V N Sarma, Special Officer A V Dharma Reddy and Deputy Executive Officer Prabhakar at the temple entrance.

He was offered temple honours and Mr Sarma handed over the prasad to him after darshan.

After interacting with pilgrims for some time at the temple entrance, Mr Prasad, who was accompanied by his son-in-law, left for Chennai by train at 0830 hrs.

Earlier, Mr Prasad arrived at the Renigunta Railway Station by a special train early this morning after darshan of Sri Sathya Saibaba at Puttaparthi in Ananthapur District yesterday.
