HP Cabinet permits change in land use provisions
Shimla, Sep 4 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet today agreed to permit change in the land use provisions at a fee, which would be charged by the Town and Country Planning Department of the state, an official spokesman today said.
The Cabinet, which met state Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh while permitting change in land use, determined a fee of Rs 100 per square meter for hotel and medium scale industries and Rs 200 per square meter for heavy and large-scale industries.
The spokesman said the fee would be charged by the TCP Department, while Section 118 of Revenue Act of the Tenancy and Land Reforms Act would be applicable as before.
The Cabinet also decided to convert the state cadre of 4,215 male, and 2,210 female health workers in the Health and Family Welfare Department into district cadre to provide them an opportunity to serve in respective districts, besides changing the cadre of class IV categories from divisional level to that of the circle level in Irrigation and Public Health (IPH) Department of the state, he said.
