Patna, Sep 4 (UNI) Patna High Court today rejected the regular bail petition of the incarcerated BPSC Chairman Ram Singhasan Singh in connection with illegal appointment of veterinary doctors.

Justice Mridula Mishra rejected the bail petition of Mr Singh after hearing his counsel and the prosecution. Counsel of the petitioner submitted before the court that Mr Singh was implicated in the case and he had nothing to do with the irregularities committed in the appointment of veterinary doctors.

While opposing the plea of the petitioner, counsel of the state Vigilance Bureau submitted before the court that during the investigation, evidence was found indicating his involvement in the case.

Earlier the state Vigilance Bureau had registered a case against Mr Singh and others for irregularities committed in the appointment of the veterinary doctors.
