Damodar Sarangi appointed DG(Investigation) of NHRC

New Delhi, Sept 4 (UNI) Mr Damodar Sarangi, an IPS officer of West Bengal Cadre, has been appointed the Director General(Investigation) of the National Human Rights Commission.

Mr Sarangi, a 1972 batch IPS officer, was earlier Additional Secretary in the Border Security Force (BSF), a Home Ministry spokesman said here today.
